What Each Book Record Contains
Every book page includes the title, author(s), digital source (Project Gutenberg), subject keywords, and a note from the catalogue project. The catalogue note describes the work’s structure, themes, and editorial treatment — often focusing on how opening, middle, and later excerpts guide a first reading.
Source Attribution
All texts are sourced from Project Gutenberg, a trusted repository of public-domain literature. No alterations have been made to the original text; editorial notes are provided separately to aid understanding.
Four Thematic Categories
The catalogue organizes works into four categories that reflect shared themes rather than rigid genres. Adventure Picaresque Fiction includes verse dramas, comedies, and theoretical writings. Fantasy Juvenile Worlds groups plays set in times of political upheaval. Physics in Theory and Practice collects works that engage with scientific ideas and stagecraft.
